Policy on the processing of Cookie files and on the use of the Yandex Metrica service

1. Definition of terms

1.1. The privacy policy for personal data currently in force (hereinafter — the Privacy Policy) operates with the following concepts:

  • “Site” – a resource located on the Internet at the network address https://beta.leafsyengine.ru
  • “Site administration”. This is the name given to the specialists representing the interests of the organisation whose duties include managing the site, that is, organising and (or) processing the personal data received by it. To perform these duties they must have a clear understanding of why the data is processed, what data is to be processed and what actions (operations) are to be carried out with the data received.
  • “Site user” (hereinafter — the User) - a person who has visited the site and who also uses its programs and products.
  • “Cookies” - a short fragment of data sent by a web browser or a web client to a web server in an HTTP request every time the User attempts to open a page of the site. The fragment is stored on the User's computer.
  • “IP address” - a unique network address of a node in a computer network built on the TCP/IP protocol.

2. General provisions

2.1. This Policy on Cookie files (hereinafter — the Policy) has been developed in order to inform visitors of the site https://beta.leafsyengine.ru (hereinafter — the Site) of the rules for using Cookie files and other similar information collection technologies.

2.2. This Policy has been developed in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 “On personal data”, in order to inform visitors of the site of the rules for using Cookie files and other information collection technologies.

2.3. This policy defines the procedure for using the Yandex.Metrica service on the site https://beta.leafsyengine.ru to collect and analyse data on user behaviour. The Policy has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on the protection of personal data.

2.5 A Visitor may refuse the use of Cookies in the settings of their browser (this option is described in the “Help” section of the relevant browser). In that case the Site will use only those Cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and for the services it offers, however such a refusal may lead to the Site working incorrectly.

3. Processing of Cookies

3.1. Under the Policy in force in the current period, the Site administration is obliged not to disclose the personal data provided by Users who register on the site, and to ensure absolute confidentiality of that data.

3.2. The Site administration protects the data that is transmitted to it automatically when a Visitor visits pages of the Site on which the statistical script of the system (Yandex Metrica) is installed, to the extent of the data about the user's device, including:

  • IP address;
  • user clicks, page views, field entries, impressions and views of banners and videos;
  • data characterising audience segments;
  • session parameters;
  • the address of the page

3.3. Users may manage Cookie files through their browser settings. Most modern browsers allow all Cookie files to be accepted or rejected, or the user to be notified when they are sent.

3.4. A consequence of disabling cookies may be the impossibility of accessing the parts of the site that require authorisation.

4. Types of Cookies

4.1. Session

  • Such Cookies exist only in temporary memory for the time the Visitor is on a page of the Site. Browsers usually delete session Cookies once the Visitor closes the window of the Site. Session Cookies allow the Site to remember information about the Visitor's choices on the previous page of the Site, so as to avoid the need to enter information again.

4.2. Persistent

  • Cookies that are stored on the Visitor's computer and are not deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent Cookies can store user settings for the Site, allowing those preferences to be used in future browsing sessions. Such Cookies make it possible to identify the Visitor as a unique user of the Site and, when they return to the Site, help to recall information about the Visitor and about actions previously taken.

4.3. Statistical

  • Such Cookies contain information about how the Visitor uses the Site. For example, which pages the Visitor visits and which links they follow. The main purpose of such Cookies is to improve the features of the Site.

4.4. Mandatory

  • The minimum set of Cookies whose use is necessary for the Site to work correctly.

5. Purposes of using Cookies

5.1. The Site administration collects the User's personal data in order to:

  • Identify the User who has completed the registration procedure on the site in order to purchase goods of this site.
  • Give the User access to the personalised resources of this site.
  • Establish feedback with the User, which means, in particular, sending requests and notifications concerning the use of the site, processing user requests and applications, and providing other services.
  • Provide the User with the fastest possible resolution of problems encountered while using the site through effective customer and technical support.
  • Ensure security and protection against fraud.

6. Yandex Metrica

6.1 Purposes of using Yandex Metrica

The Service is used for:

  • Analysing site traffic.
  • Improving the functionality and usability of the site.
  • Optimising content and advertising campaigns.

6.2 Types of data collected

Yandex Metrica collects the following data:

  • Data about the pages of the Site that are visited;
  • The duration and frequency of sessions;
  • The order in which pages are viewed;
  • The sources of referrals to the Site;
  • Technical characteristics of devices and browsers (device type, OS, screen resolution);
  • Approximate location (city/region based on the IP address);
  • Demographic data (where available);
  • User actions (clicks, scrolling, form filling).

6.3 Obtaining users' consent

  • In order to use Yandex.Metrica, a pop-up notice (cookie banner) informing users about the collection of data is placed on the site. Consent to the processing of data is confirmed by continuing to use the site after reading the notice.

6.4 Informing users

A privacy policy is published on the site, containing:

  • Information about the use of Yandex.Metrica;
  • The list of data collected and the purposes of its processing;
  • The storage periods for the information;
  • The contacts of the responsible person;

7. Additional terms

7.1. The Site administration has the right to change the Policy currently in force without asking the User for consent.

7.2. The new Policy comes into force after information about it has been published on the site.
